This Privacy Notice explains how [Reveon Motorcycles S.r.l.] (“Reveon”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects and processes personal data when you use our websites [https://www.reveon-motorcycles.com] (the “Website”), our connected motorcycles and embedded software (the “Products”), our mobile application (the “App”), and any related services, tools, and features (collectively, the “Services”).

By using the Services, you acknowledge this Notice. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1) What data we collect and why

We collect the categories of personal data below. For each, we list typical sources, purposes, and legal bases under Articles 6–9 GDPR. Providing some data may be required to create an account, fulfill an order, or deliver features (e.g., navigation, anti-theft, crash alerts).

A. Identifiers & account data

  • Data: name, surname, email, phone, account username/password, profile photo, government ID (where legally required for KYC/AML), device identifiers (IP address, device ID, OS, browser).

  • Sources: you (web/app forms, test rides, events, phone), your browser/device, our site chat (if enabled).

  • Purposes: create/manage your account; process orders; customer support; communicate (service emails, order updates, optional marketing); prevent fraud/abuse; comply with legal obligations (e.g., AML, tax, invoicing).

  • Legal bases: contract performance; legitimate interests (service operation, security, fraud prevention); legal obligation; consent (for marketing where required).

B. Protected classifications / demographics (limited)

  • Data: date of birth, nationality, preferred language.

  • Purposes: account eligibility/age checks; communications in your language; compliance checks.

  • Legal bases: contract; legal obligation; legitimate interests; consent where required.

C. Payment data

  • Data: payment method, masked card details, transaction identifiers; for bank transfer: IBAN/account holder.

  • Notes: Payment details are processed by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers.

  • Purposes: take and manage payments, refunds, fraud prevention, accounting.

  • Legal bases: contract; legal obligation; legitimate interests.

D. Geolocation & telematics (Products/App)

  • Data: country and postal address, precise GPS location (if you enable it), trip data, vehicle diagnostics, battery status, sensor data, firmware data, crash/impact events, tamper/anti-theft alerts.

  • Sources: the Product and App; you (shipping/service addresses).

  • Purposes: deliver connected features (navigation, ride logging you enable), anti-theft/recovery, crash detection and optional emergency alerts, remote diagnostics, over-the-air updates, product safety and quality, support.

  • Legal bases: contract; vital interests (incident/emergency notifications you enable); legitimate interests (anti-theft, safety, product improvement); consent (where required, e.g., precise location, crash alert enrollment).

E. Commercial & usage information

  • Data: purchased Products/accessories, preferences, Website/App usage (pages, events), referral sources, campaign interactions, chat support transcripts (where applicable).

  • Purposes: operate and improve Services, personalization, analytics, measure campaign effectiveness, resolve issues.

  • Legal bases: legitimate interests; consent (where ePrivacy rules require it for non-essential cookies).

F. User-generated content (UGC)

  • Data: photos, profile info, ride names/notes, reviews, forum posts.

  • Purposes: display UGC you choose to share; community features; marketing only with your consent or as permitted by law.

  • Legal bases: consent; contract; legitimate interests.

G. Data from third parties

  • Sources: dealers/distributors (test rides, orders, delivery status), marketing partners (Meta/Google ad platforms), social media (if you connect), anti-fraud/identity providers, analytics and cloud vendors.

  • Purposes & bases: as above and consistent with this Notice. We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices—check their notices.

2) Cookies and tracking technologies

We use cookies, SDKs, and similar technologies to run the site, keep you logged in, secure accounts, perform analytics, and (with consent where required) show relevant offers. Your Wix cookie banner should: (a) block non-essential cookies until consent, (b) offer granular choices, (c) allow withdrawal at any time.

  • Do Not Track: our Services do not currently respond to DNT signals.

  • Managing cookies: you can adjust preferences in our cookie banner and in your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may impact functionality.

3) How we share your data

We share personal data only as needed and with appropriate safeguards:

  • Service providers / processors (on our instructions): hosting & cloud, payments, CRM/support, analytics, app crash reporting, maps/navigation, security/anti-fraud, email/SMS, IoT connectivity/telemetry, data warehousing.

  • Dealers/distributors: to schedule test rides, deliver Products, provide local service and warranty support.

  • Emergency response (if you enable crash alerts): to first responders/contacts when a serious incident is detected.

  • Affiliates within our corporate group: for internal administration consistent with this Notice.

  • Legal & compliance: to courts, regulators, law enforcement when required, to enforce our Terms, protect rights/safety, prevent fraud.

  • Business transactions: in connection with mergers, acquisitions, financing, or asset transfers, subject to confidentiality.

  • With your consent: e.g., social login/integrations, publishing your testimonials/UGC, marketing partners where required by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

4) International data transfers

Your data may be processed in countries outside Italy/EEA/UK. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we use lawful safeguards such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and, where relevant, the UK IDTA/Addendum, plus supplementary measures as appropriate. 5) Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes collected, including:

  • Account/order data: statutory retention (tax/accounting) + limitation periods.

  • Telematics/safety logs: for the life of the Product or the period necessary for safety, diagnostics, warranty, and security, then deletion or anonymization.

  • Marketing: until you withdraw consent or object, and for a short period thereafter to record your preference.
    When retention ends, we delete or irreversibly anonymize data unless we must retain it to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

6) Security

We apply technical and organizational measures appropriate to risk (access controls, encryption in transit/at rest where applicable, logging, segregation, vulnerability management). No system is 100% secure. Avoid sending highly sensitive information over unsecured channels.

7) Your rights (EEA/Italy/UK)

Subject to conditions and exceptions under GDPR, you can request:

  • Access to your personal data and information about processing;

  • Rectification of inaccurate data;

  • Erasure (right to be forgotten);

  • Restriction of processing;

  • Portability (machine-readable copy or transfer to another controller);

  • Objection to processing based on legitimate interests, including profiling; and objection at any time to direct marketing;

  • Withdrawal of consent where processing relies on consent (does not affect prior lawful processing).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (Italian Data Protection Authority) or your local supervisory authority.

8) Children’s privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child provided data, contact us to delete it. Where local law requires higher age thresholds for consent, we comply.

9) User-generated content & public areas

Content you post publicly (e.g., profile photos, ride names, reviews, forums) may be seen by others and can be shared. Think carefully before sharing personal data publicly. We cannot control what others do with information you make public.

10) Third-party websites and services

Our Services may link to or integrate with third-party sites (e.g., payment providers, social media, maps). Their processing is governed by their own privacy notices. We are not responsible for their practices.

11) Marketing communications

Where required, we send marketing only with your consent; otherwise, on our legitimate interests where permitted. You can unsubscribe at any time via the message footer or by contacting us. We may still send non-marketing service messages (e.g., order updates, safety notices).

12) Legal bases – summary (GDPR)

We process data under one or more of: contract (Art. 6(1)(b)), consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)), legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)), and vital interests (Art. 6(1)(d)) for emergency features. Special-category data is not intentionally collected; if processed (e.g., incident health info supplied by you), we rely on Art. 9(2)(c)/(a) as applicable.

13) California privacy (only if you have U.S. customers)

If you sell/market to California residents, they may have rights under CCPA/CPRA (know, access, correct, delete, opt-out of “sale”/“sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising, limit use of sensitive personal info).
